Meet Our Management Team
President / Managing Partner
Brett oversees and manages all business operations at Adopt Technologies. He is focused on the vision and strategy of the organization while working with his team to refine, implement and execute the business plan required to realize those long-term objectives.
Prior to purchasing Adopt Technologies, Brett founded Helgeson Construction Management, which managed and executed over $56 million of commercial construction projects in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Brett has a BS in Building Construction Technology from Purdue University and an MBA from Arizona State University.
Chief Technology Officer / Partner
Ryan is responsible for architecting, managing and scaling Adopt Technologies cloud computing systems. Those initiatives require significant research, implementation, testing and deployment of systems for customers. Ryan also assists with refining and delivering customer on-boarding and support processes.
Prior to joining Adopt Technologies Ryan was the Network Administrator for a national company as well as an IT administrator for a Phoenix organization. Ryan also owned his own company specializing in wireless technologies. Ryan has a BA in Sustainability from Arizona State University.

Christopher ("Chris") Hunter is the Chairman of Adopt Technologies Board of Advisors. Chris brings a broad range of business expertise to Adopt Technologies Board of Advisors. Chris' vast C-level experience with a myriad of national and multi-national corporations bring tremendous leadership and value.
Chris' focus on defining and executing strategic initiatives, as well as key performance indicators in support of those initiatives, bring a no non-sense approach to performance and accountability for Adopt Technologies leadership.
Chris' experience and acumen extends to all business-related decisions that Adopt Technologies makes as a growing firm focused on becoming a leading cloud computing services provider for its small and medium sized business customers.
Beyond a wide range and depth in business experience, Jim is masterful at assembling and leading teams that are built to accomplish specific initiatives and end goals. Depending on each unique business initiative, the array of expertise and key individuals required to achieve success will vary, which is why Jim was the keystone to assembling Adopt Technologies Board of Advisors.
Jim brings a level of accountability and diligence to Adopt's leadership and its Board Members that is often missing in organizations and boards. Jim brings the best efforts out of individuals to accomplish tasks at hand and he meets with Adopt Technologies leadership on a monthly basis, in between formal board meetings.
Ed Zito brings extensive financial, capital acquisition and business leadership expertise to Adopt Technologies Board of Advisors. Ed's acumen in business, economic development, commercial and investment banking add tremendous value to Adopt Technologies leadership and his inquisitive nature brings forth thought-provoking discussion and ideas that both challenge the organization and enhance its potential to successfully realize long-term strategic initiatives.
Ed is the President of Alliance Bank of Arizona where he also serves on the bank's Asset and Liability Management and Investment Committee (ALCO). Ed is a recognized and respected business leader known for his commitment to Arizona businesses and long
standing track record of success.
Janine Davison brings extensive expertise to Adopt Technologies Board of Advisors in the realm of high-tech sales and marketing, new market and customer development, building long-term business partnerships and launching new and emerging product categories while developing and implementing the strategic programs required to realize the success of those initiatives.
Janine has been a leader in Global Marketing and Management at Intel Corporation for over 20 years, where she has been a valued team member since 1993. As a life-long learner, Janine attributes her professional and personal success to a curiosity in people and cultures along with understanding the importance of business relationships and effective communication.
True Carr brings a long and extremely successful track record of business leadership, ownership and development in the construction industry, one of Adopt Technologies' primary vertical markets. True's business acumen in the construction industry focuses on delivering quality products while meeting customers' highest expectations.
In his business development, True maintains an unparalleled commitment to fostering longstanding customer and employee relationships while also focusing on a day-to-day necessity to "delight the customer" in its ongoing operations.
Aaron Gagnon brings legal counsel and general business expertise to Adopt Technologies Board of Advisors. Aaron understands the intersection of business, law and relationships which culminate in strong insight on a wide array of important topics and decisions Adopt Technologies evaluates on an ongoing basis.
Aaron's experience with navigating and avoiding potential pitfalls that many small businesses fall victim to, as well as mitigating risk, is of significant value to a fast-growing business like Adopt Technologies.
Rob Lloyd brings a wide array of experience and knowledge to Adopt Technologies Board and leadership. His extensive experience as a CIO in particular delivers tremendous value to Adopt Technologies. Rob’s IT acumen afford Adopt leadership to “go deep” on systems & infrastructure related architecture, planning and budgeting as well as cybersecurity, vendor management, customer service initiatives and systems support and management efficiencies.
For many years Rob has been leading initiatives in the areas of technology, strategic planning, organizational change and customer service at both state and local governments. Currently, Rob is the CIO of the City of San Jose, considered the “Capital” of Silicon Valley. Under his leadership, many of the municipalities he has served have earned awards and recognition for innovation, engagement and operational excellence through technology. He himself has also been honored as a CIO, a 40 under 40 winner and Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers honoree.
